Hi lovely Nerja people! I’ve been coming to Nerja for the last 20 years and over that time have narrowed down my favourite beach restaurant to Jose Cruz. However, I’m back this year for the first time since 2019.
I’d be interested to know what your favourite beach restaurant is at Burriana so any recommendations gratefully received! Thanks x
La Merendero La Barca,
I love the place down on Torecilla beach front, not sure what the name was, it’s a big place, they were building some toilets last April outside when I went if anyone knows???…great sardines and mussels
Montermar for me , never disappoints x
Raw is superb 
Las Palmeras beach club is fab
I had the same experience with Cruz. The paella was really not good. Too much sauce and small chicken bones throughout the paella. Rincon de Sol was good.

I like them all, we had two nice lunches at Jose Cruz last week
La Barca is always my go -to. My first meal in nerja is ALWAYS their pilpil. (IMO the best pilpil in all of nerja)
I love the Paella at Ayo, it’s delicious and you get a refill if you are still hungry after the first plate, and for me it’s always Paella and a Tinto de Verano! 
We usually go to Merendero Moreno on Burriana and Merendero Cobos on Torrecilla 
La Barca always !!!!!! Our first port of call when we arrive and our first choice always
We love Yuu Taley. I know it’s Thai but the food is always excellent and you always feel a warm welcome.

Others – Raw is our fave
Rincon del sol is fab on burriana beach, though don’t think they do paella 
I know you want Nerja..
But jump on the bus and come to Torrox for authentic paella at the merenderos
